There's something so very comforting about crawling into an unmade bed. I don't know why. Hotel hopping these past few weeks has made me realize this. When the maids tightly bind your bed so that it looks like perfection, I get a lonely and pained feeling. I have the urge to mess up the bed and untuck all of the sheets. However, it just ins't the same as if it were left from the night before.
When left from the night before at least there is a tiny trace of familair. It is not the same as home, but it is a cozy alternative.
Think about your home, your comfort zone. The people that you share your life with. Cherish them and show them your love. Let them grow there own way, but don't let them grow apart from you. Keep your home close to your heart, no matter where you are. Try to find your familiar in your journey, and home won't seem so far away. :)
The traces of snow left on the ground show a fresh begining to a chapter of life. Winter is here, and the cold weather brings change to our body and soul. It is 32 degrees here in Sandy, Utah. Warm to some, but not to me.
The countdown is on, 3 days till the grand opening of In-N-Out Burger in the greater Salt Lake area. Hope the turnout is as great as we expect. Here's an article to remind those just how busy our opening day was in Tucson, AZ in 2007.

For those who are planning on making it to opening day, expect to wait at least 2 hours for your food. Hope to see you all there, snow or sun!
Have a Beautiful Day!
